para-aramid fiber introduction
The conjugation effect of the benzene ring and amide group determines the excellent properties of para-aramid fiber with high strength, high modulus, and low density. Its density is only 1/5 of that of steel wire, but its tensile strength is 5-6 times that of steel wire, and its toughness is 2 times that of steel wire; It has excellent thermal stability, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, insulation, fatigue resistance, and does not decompose and melt below 560℃. It is currently recognized as a high-performance fiber material with high strategic value in the industry.
Molecular hydrogen bond
The molecular structure of the para-aramid fiber is a straight chain rigid structure, and its amide bond and benzene ring group form a π - π conjugate structure. The internal rotation potential is very high, the degree of orientation and crystallinity is high, and the chain segments are arranged neatly. It has two remarkable characteristics:
•The molecular chain is arranged by benzene ring and amide group according to certain rules, which has good regularity;
•The rigid linear molecular bonds bonded to the aromatic ring are highly oriented in the fiber axis, and the polymer chains are laterally connected by hydrogen bonds.
The Para-aramid filament is made of polycondensation of p-phenylene diamine and terephthaloyl chloride. The appearance of the filament is golden yellow, the relative density is low, and the strength is 5-6 times that of steel wire. It has good flame retardancy and thermal stability. It can maintain performance decay at 200℃. The main specifications are 200D, 400D, 600D, 800D, 1000D, 1500D, and 3000D, which are widely used in tires, optical cables, hoses, rubber products, ropes, high-speed rail, aerospace, personal protection, friction, sealing, and other fields.
Read MoreSend InquiryPara-aramid pulp is a product made from chopped fiber and is highly fibrillated. It is light yellow and fluffy, and the surface is fluffy microfibers clustered, rich in hairiness, and rough like wood. The pulp can provide excellent reinforcement in products as a specialty processing material, control viscosity during shear processing, and is a very good composite material. Widely used in automotive brake pads, gaskets, and transmission clutches in the automotive industry, as well as in adhesives and sealants in the field of sealing materials for viscosity control additives and other fields.
Read MoreSend InquiryPara-aramid staple fiber is made of filament as raw material, washed with water, crimped and cut, and then surface-treated, and its appearance is golden yellow. Staple fiber products have a variety of specifications, according to length into three specifications 38mm, 51mm, and 76mm, according to linear density into two specifications 1.65dtex, and 2.5dtex. It is widely used in the fields of anti-cutting gloves, high-temperature conveyor belts, flue gas dust removal filter material, fire fighting material, lifting slings, safety ropes, and so on.
